Welcome to Faux Flower Events. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all bookings, services, and website use. By proceeding with a booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
About Us
Faux Flower Events provides high quality faux floral arrangements for hire, specialising in weddings, events, and styled occasions. Our business operates within the UK.
Booking & Payment
- Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed hire agreement and a non-refundable deposit.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £300 is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
- Final Balance: The remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks prior to your event date.
- Late Payment: If full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Client Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date are not eligible for a refund of any monies paid.
- Company Cancellations: In the unlikely event that Faux Flower Events must cancel your booking, a full refund will be issued.
- Rescheduling: We'll do our best to accommodate date changes, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply.
Delivery, Setup & Collection
- Delivery: We offer free delivery and collection within a 40mile round trip (20miles each way) from our base. For locations beyond this, a travel fee/mileage charges will apply.
- Setup: Setup of all hired florals is included unless otherwise agreed. Our team will arrange the hired items in accordance with the overall design direction discussed during the planning process. However Faux Flower Events retains creative discretion during setup and reserves the right to style displays as we see fit, based on space, conditions or practical requirements on the day. While we aim to achieve the agreed aesthetic, we cannot guarantee that specific layouts or exact visual outcomes will be replicated.
- Collection: Our team will return to collect items at the agreed time and location. Please ensure all hired items are accessible.
Repositioning or Room Turnarounds
If your event requires items to be moved between spaces (e.g. a ceremony to reception room turnaround), this must be discussed in advance.
Faux Flower Events can assist with repositioning or resetting floral displays for an additional fee, subject to availability of staff on the day.
If you or your venue choose to move the items yourselves:
- You accept full responsibility for their placement and condition.
- Faux Flower Events cannot be held liable if the florals do not appear as originally styled, or if they are not displayed as intended.
We strongly recommend allowing us to manage any mid-event transitions to ensure consistency and presentation quality.
Care & Responsibility of Hired Items
- Ownership: All hired items remain the sole property of Faux Flower Events at all times.
- Hire Period: Standard hire duration is 24 hours from the time of delivery or setup, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any items retained beyond this period may incur additional hire charges.
- Condition of Hire: All items are delivered clean, in excellent condition and ready for use.
- Client Responsibility: Once delivered and set up, you are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all hired items. Ensuring that hired items are not damaged, lost, or stolen during the hire period.
- Damage Fees: Any items not returned, or returned damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear, will incur replacement or repair charges.
Use of Items
- Hired items are strictly for decorative use only and must not be altered, disassembled, or removed from the venue unless agreed in advance.
- Items must not be exposed to extreme weather, fire, or hazardous conditions.
Limitation of Liability
While we take every care in providing our service, Faux Flower Events shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential loss.
- Delays or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes (but is not limited to) vehicle breakdowns, severe weather, accidents, illness, road closures, or other unforeseen events.
In the rare event that we are unable to deliver the service due to such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative, refund, or partial refund as appropriate.
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, photos, and branding featured on this website or in our marketing materials are the intellectual property of Faux Flower Events and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.
Photography & Marketing Use
Faux Flower Events reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos of our floral displays and setups for use in our marketing materials, including but not limited to our website, social media, and portfolio.
We respect your privacy and the flow of your event, so no images will be shared publicly on the day of your event.
Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. Any personal information you provide is used solely for the purpose of managing your booking and communications. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for more information.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking will apply to your event.
